The Berkeley Student Cooperative Alumni Association (BSCAA) invites you to our semiannual guided Strawberry Creek tour, now named formally for former BSCAA President and long-term board member Steve Greenberg.
Meet fellow alumni at the BSC’s Central Office to enjoy coffee and pastries at 11 AM, followed by a history and nature walk around Strawberry Creek. Environmental protection specialist Tim Pine (ret.) of the UC Berkeley Office of Environment, Health, & Safety, along with current office interns, will take us on a tour of Strawberry Creek and share its history and the impact of environmental harm, as well as how he and others are successfully restoring the creek. As an optional end to the tour, there may be a gardening opportunity for volunteers who would like to participate in gardening an area with invasive plants!
