Spring 2023 Strawberry Creek Tour

The Berkeley Student Cooperative Alumni Association (BSCAA) is excited to invite you to our biannual Strawberry Creek tour and clean-up.
Meet fellow volunteers at Cloyne Court to enjoy coffee and donuts at 9:30 am in the courtyard, and get ready for a fun morning of history about Strawberry Creek. Environmental protection specialist Tim Pine of the UC Berkeley Office of Environment, Health, & Safety will take us on a tour of Strawberry Creek and share its history and the impact of environmental harm, as well as how he and others are successfully restoring the creek. As an optional end to the tour, Tim and his team will provide gardening tools to volunteers who would like to participate in gardening an area with invasive plants!
Itinerary:
- 9:30 AM: Coffee & Donuts at Cloyne Court
- 10:00 AM: Strawberry Creek tour & history lesson
- 11:00 AM: Creek Gardening!
